Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Erik's Cleaning Company website (erikscleaningcompany.com) and the cleaning services we provide. By using this website or scheduling services with us, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us before booking.

Service Area

Erik's Cleaning Company provides services in the Florida Panhandle only, specifically Walton County, Okaloosa County, and (on a case-by-case basis with possible travel fee) portions of Bay County. We do not currently service areas outside of this region. Contact us to confirm whether your location is within our service area before requesting a quote.

Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided by Erik's Cleaning Company — whether by phone, email, or through our website contact form — are estimates only. The final price is confirmed after Erik has had the opportunity to assess the actual condition, size, and type of surfaces or materials involved.

Factors that may affect the final price include (but are not limited to): square footage, level of soiling, number of items, type of material, and access conditions. Erik will always communicate any difference from the original estimate before beginning work. You are never obligated to proceed if the confirmed price does not meet your expectations.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We ask that you provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. While we understand that circumstances change, last-minute cancellations affect our ability to serve other clients. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible — at least 24 hours when feasible.

Erik's Cleaning Company reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as promptly as possible in those situations.

Expected Results

Erik provides professional cleaning services using industry-standard equipment and techniques. Individual results vary based on the condition, age, type, and construction of the materials being cleaned. Older carpets, heavily soiled surfaces, and delicate materials may respond differently than newer or lightly soiled ones.

Erik will honestly assess what is achievable before starting any job. If he believes a surface or material cannot be restored to a satisfactory condition, he will tell you upfront rather than take your money for a result he cannot deliver.

Pre-Existing Damage

Before beginning work, Erik documents and notes any pre-existing damage, staining, wear, or conditions that are present on the surfaces or materials to be cleaned. This protects both you and Erik's Cleaning Company. If you have specific concerns about a surface, please point them out at the start of the appointment.

Erik's Cleaning Company is not responsible for damage that existed prior to service, for damage caused by defects in the materials themselves, or for conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before cleaning began.

Stain Removal — No Guarantees

Some stains are permanent. Stains that have been set through heat, age, or chemical reaction (including certain pet urine stains, dye transfers, bleach damage, rust, and certain food or beverage stains) may not be fully removable regardless of the cleaning method used. Erik will inform you if he believes a stain is unlikely to come out fully before he attempts removal. We do not offer guarantees on complete stain elimination for set or permanent stains.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service upon completion of the work. We accept common payment methods — contact us in advance if you have questions about accepted forms of payment. Invoices or receipts can be provided upon request.

Limitations of Service

Erik's Cleaning Company does not provide the following services:

• Structural restoration — We clean surfaces; we do not repair, refinish, or structurally restore flooring, tile grout, or other materials.
• Mold remediation — We offer water extraction to remove standing water and reduce moisture, but we are not certified mold remediators. If mold is present, you should contact a licensed mold remediation contractor.
• Permanent stain removal guarantees — As noted above, some stains cannot be fully removed. We will do our best, but we do not guarantee the complete elimination of stains that are set or chemically bonded to the material.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or our services shall be resolved in the applicable courts of Florida.
